Ralph Bliese

June 20, 1935 — December 22, 2012

Ralph W. Bliese, 77, of the town of Wausau, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born to Walter and Marie (Kroenig) Bliese on June 20, 1935, in Wausau. He married the former Phyllis Walters on April 12, 1958, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in the town of Pine River.
Ralph was a self-made man. In 1965, he started Valley Scale Service with two people. In 1983, he purchased the Green Bay distributorship. The business was sold to three of his children who worked there. Currently he also has a grandson full time and two grandchildren part time working in the business he successfully launched. Ralph was also an electrician, learning the trade during his two years of service in the U.S. Army. He was a charter member of the Easton-Hewitt-Wausau Lions Club and a member of AmVets.
He was a wonderful mentor and provider for his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Rest in peace.
