Ramona George, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, in Weston, WI at the age of 95. She was born on November 3, 1928, in Honolulu, HI, to loving parents who instilled in her a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to her family. She married the love of her life, Sidney George on July 19, 1952 in Reno, Nevada.

Throughout her life, Ramona found fulfillment in her role as a cashier in the university setting, where her warm smile and kind demeanor touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. Her dedication to her work was evident in the friendships she formed and the respect she garnered from all who crossed her path.

Ramona is survived by her sister, Barbara Decker, her sons; Michael George (Deb Stevens), Dennis (Linda)George and Bruce(Cathleen) George; grandchildren Chris (Emily) George, Lindsay Wanserski,Emily (Josh) Meidl and Derek George. Ramona's absolute pride and greatest joy in her life were her five great grandchildren; Logan, Lincoln, Wesley, Axton and Camryn Ramona. She loved spending every second she could with them, encouraging them, teaching them life lessons, cheering them on in their sports games and celebrating every holiday with them. She always told them, "I love you and I'm so proud of you." They absolutely adored their "Granny Granny" and she will remain a strong constant in their lives and live on through all their precious memories.

She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Ronald George; husband, Sidney George; parents Julian and Mary Jama.

She was a pillar of strength and unwavering support for her family, always putting their needs above her own. Her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on through those she leaves behind.

Ramona will be joining her beloved husband, Sidney, at King Veterans Cemetery, Waupaca with a private family service.

Ramona Helen George will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she loved. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and light she brought into the world.
