Randy Krueger

Randy Krueger was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a strong work ethic instilled in him by his father, Ruben. After graduating from Wausau West High School, Randy would work days on the family dairy farm, raise Ginseng and then work nights at Wausau Homes.
Randy was born August 4, 1953 in Wausau to Lillian (Krenz) Krueger of Wausau and the late Ruben Krueger. He was baptized and life member of Grace Lutheran Church, town of Maine. Randy loved his Lord and it showed in the way he lived his life while serving others. He had been a First Responder for the town of Maine and current Chairman of the Congregation at Grace Lutheran Church. On July 9, 1977 Randy married Marilyn Lodholz at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. They built their house in the town of Berlin where they raised their three children, Andy, Becky and Katie. Randy grew Ginseng and was named Grower of the Year in 1983. He served as a past board member for the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin. He and his family also raised Elk on their farm. Randy enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Towanda Lake, deer hunting and fishing all over the upper Midwest including a trip or two to Canada.
At the age of 63, Randy passed away at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the town of Berlin, children, Andy (Megan) Krueger of Mt. Horeb, Becky (Robert) Myszka of Wausau, Katie Krueger of Wausau, two grandchildren, Madie and Clay Myszka, his mother, Lillian Krueger of Wausau, sister, Sandra Krueger of Portage, MI, and brother, Daniel (Susan) Krueger of Wausau. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben, sister, Sharon Krueger and father and mother-in-law, Louis and Lois Kainz.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 10, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 6655 Cty. Rd. A, Wausau. Reverend Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in the Town of Berlin Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
