Richard Lee Greguire, 79, Wittenberg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau, surrounded by his loving family.
Dick was born January 6, 1937 in Escanaba, MI to the late William and Loretta (Coughlan) Gregory. He proudly served in the US Air Force from January 1954 to October 1957. Dick was a self-employed grease monkey mechanic throughout his life and duct tape miracle worker, often known to carrying a crescent wrench and duct tape with him at all times.
Dick could be a stubborn man, but that was overshadowed by his big heart and generous nature. He enjoyed breakfast and never started his day without it.
Dick is survived by his love, Jackie Drake; sons, Richard and Tim; daughter, Amanda; several step-children; multiple grandchildren and a very large and loving extended family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Ronald and Wayne; and sister, Rosemary.
There will be a graveside committal for Dick at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Wausau. Military rites will be performed by VFW Burns Post #388.
