Rita Kroeplin, 69, of Wausau, went home to be with her Savior Jesus, on Wednesday, December 5th 2012. The hope we have in Jesus is wonderful for us who are left behind.
Rita was born August 1st 1943, the daughter of the late Russell and Josephine (Weisman) Wunsch, in Wausau. On May 15th 1967, she was united in marriage to Wayne Kroeplin and together they shared 45 years of amazing memories with their family and many wonderful experiences. In June 2012, she and Wayne fulfilled a lifelong dream of taking an Alaskan Cruise with good family friends. It was the highlight of her and Wayne's many adventures together.
She loved her art work and loved to paint in her unique style of art. Most of all, she loved her Lord and loved to share His plan of Salvation to all who would believe. Rita was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rita will live on in the hearts of her husband, Wayne; daughter, Patty (Dan) Snyder; four sons, Wayne, Jr. (Kathy) Kroeplin, Russell (Amanda) Kroeplin, Kurt (DeLise) Kroening, and Tony (Karna) Kroening; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Sherry) Wunsch; two sisters, Carol (Ken) Kropp and Kathy Holbrook; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 7th, at Highland Community Church, Wausau. Burial will be private at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive guests at church, beginning at 9 a.m., until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Wisconsin Right to Life.
