Robert Christian

Robert W. Christian, 58, ended his journey and went to meet his Lord on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born to Maeward and Alice (Krohn) Christian on November 17, 1952 in Wausau. Bob was a caring, loving, and devoted husband and father. He was taken much too soon and will be truly missed.
He left behind his wife, Sally; son, Luke; best four-legged pal, Layla; mother, Alice; two sisters, Nan and Ruth; three brothers, Lee, Carl, and Ken; sisters-in-law, Donna, Rae, Sue, Lynne, Renee, Cheri, Sharon, Jane, and Julie; brothers-in-law, David, LaVern, Hoss, Dick, Steve, Gary, Gerry, Keith; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his dad, Maeward.
A memorial service will take place at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau, with Pastor Lee Christian officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Christ the Rock Bible Church, 4414 West Stewart Ave., Wausau.
