Robert Corolewski

Robert John Corolewski, 55, Wausau, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Bartlesville, OK.

Robert was born on April 4, 1958 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Elizabeth "Betty" (Mukavitz) and the late Eugene "Curly" Corolewski. He is a 1976 graduate of West High School and went on to granduate from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Accounting/Finance and a minor in Business.

During his career, Robert worked as an accountant for the Amoco Corporation in Wyoming and Texas; ConocoPhillips in Oklahoma and most recently for the aeronautical manufacturing firm Nordam in Tulsa, OK. Even with all of his hard work, he found the time to enjoy the outdoors and fishing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and northern Wisconsin when he could. Robert also had an immense love of sports which led to him playing basketball for fun, being involved with his son, Cameron's soccer team and always cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Robert is survived by his beloved son, Cameron Corolewski; mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Corolewski; siblings, Roberta (Tom) Regner, Lisbeth "Beth" (Milton "Butch") Gabrielski and Richard "Dick" (Cheryl) Corolewski; ex-wife, Tammy Corolewski; and extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Matthew Parish, Wausau. Father Robert Thorn is officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday at the church. There will be a private family committal at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Wausau. Helke Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family who will be establishing an educational trust for Cameron's future.
