Robert Milton Cramer was born May 4, 1926, the son of the late Ernest and Myrtle (Corion) Cramer, in Breitung Township, MI.
He was a World War II veteran, proudly serving our country from 1944 – 1946. For almost 49 years, he shared a wonderful life with his wife, Beverly, and their family and friends. Robert and Beverly were both talented woodworkers and painters, and enjoyed sharing their love of crafts.
On Sunday, January 16, 2011, Robert died at St. Francis Hospital, in Milwaukee.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, including his wife, Beverly (Stout) Cramer; daughter, Cheryl (Steven, Sr.) Petri; grandchildren, Steven Petri, Shannon (David) Cronce, and Jason Petri; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Ava, and Owen; and other relatives and friends.
A service will be held at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, Friday, January 21st, at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Raymond Connor, of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Schofield, will officiate. Burial will follow, with full military honors by V.F.W. – Burns Post #388, Wausau, at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Family will receive guests at the Helke Funeral Home, Thursday, January 20th, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and again the day of the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
