Roberta Blair, 91, of Wausau, died Tuesday July13, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Roberta was born June 22, 1919 in Schofield, to the late Robert and Irma (Maiden) Spiecher. She married Charles D. Blair II on April 6, 1940 in Wausau. Charles preceded her in death on January 8, 1998. Roberta was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Roberta and her husband delivered Mobile Meals on Wheels for 25 years. In earlier years Roberta liked camping with her family and in their retirement, She and Charles enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include one son Robert (Sue) Blair of Wausau, two daughters; Judy (Ted) Blus of Wausau, Jane Swanson of Atlanta Ga., five grandchildren; Adam and Amy Blair, Carol (Todd) Naze, Wendy (Mark) Nimtz and Teddy (Emily Buss) Blus, and 5 great grandchildren.
Roberta was preceded in death by one son; Charles D. Blair III, one grandson Bradley James Swanson, her twin brother Robert, two other brothers; Frank and James, and three sisters; Polly, Ruth and Lucille.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday July 16, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, Wausau. The Reverend Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Thursday July 15, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
