Rosalie Ann Duranceau, 75, Wausau, died Monday, March 25, 2019 at Our House Senior Living, Wausau.
Rosalie was born May 7, 1943 in Wausau to the late Lester and Frances (Richards) Duranceau. She was a graduate of Wausau High School. She worked as a cashier for several grocery stores in the Wausau area over the years.
Rosalie always had a joke to tell. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for friends and family, especially Packers blankets.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Sheila Stafford; her grandchildren, Rachel and Alex Samuelson; brothers, Delbert, Floyd and Leonard Duranceau; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Hiebl, and Mary Duranceau; plus many, many, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Edna Schultz, Harold Duranceau, Daniel Duranceau, Ione Czech, Roy Duranceau and Audrey Bailey.
Rosalie will be inurned at Restlawn Memorial Park at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 12, 2019.
Directions to chapel: While traveling north on North 6th Street in Wausau, turn right onto Evergreen Road and then left onto North Troy Street, proceed along North Troy Street and turn left into the parking lot for the Restlawn Mausoleum Chapel. The committal will now be inside the Restlawn Mausoleum Chapel at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 12, 2019.
