Roselene Peterson

Roselene B. “Toddy” Peterson, 80, of Wausau , went to her peace on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at Marywood Convalescent Center with family by her side.





Roselene was born March 6, 1928 in the town of Rib Falls, to the late Joseph and Ella Bedynek. She married the love of her life, William “Billy” Peterson on April 23, 1949 . William preceded her in death on April 14, 2007 . Toddy was first and foremost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She worked for 35 years at 29 Super Market as a meat wrapper. Along with Billy, they were ginseng growers who achieved notoriety for the beauty of their gardens and their skill in raising root. A longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Wausau , she treasured her relationship with the Lord and the friendships she developed among the congregation.





Survivors include two sons; Kelly (LaVonne) Peterson of Blue Grass, IA. and Randy (Mari) Peterson of Wausau, four cherished grandchildren; Scott W. Peterson of Sesser, Ill., Robert J. (Christie) Peterson of Athens, Livia Peterson of Green Bay, and Lea Peterson of Wausau, six equally cherished great grandchildren; Kyle, Ashley, Kaylyn, Hannah, Brynn and Bradyn, two sisters; Angeline (Orville) Schmidt of Wausau, Arvela (Ervin) Koenig of Marathon, and one brother Allen Bedynek.





Toddy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, and one sister Aryle Hoff of Little Chicago.





Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday November10, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church , Wausau . Officiating will be the Reverend Jerry Morris. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park . Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau , and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.





A very special “THANKS” to Angeline, who was “Always There” and a tremendous help in the later years.
