Rosemary Ruth Dumdei, 89, Wausau, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Wellington Place, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Rosemary was born May 23, 1927, in Wausau, daughter of the late Rudolph and Edna (Kaatz) Priebe. She received her education in Wausau where she graduated from high school.
Rosemary worked as cook for many years, which include the Trinity Lutheran School and the Valley Inn in Rib Mountain. Her favorite pastime was playing cards with her card club.
She is survived by one son David (Vicky) Dumdei of Wausau, WI, one daughter Linda (Ted) Myers of Eau Claire, WI, four grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Bartow, Collin Myers and Mitchell and Logan Dumdei, two great grandchildren Brayden and Nathan Bartow and two sisters Geraldine Weber of Wausau, WI and Sally Wagner of Weston, WI.
She was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Steppert.
Private family services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery. Helke Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
