Rosemary Plamann

May 10, 1930 — September 13, 2014

Rosemary Wells Plamann, 84 of Wausau, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehab Center under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice.

She was born May 10, 1930 in Tomahawk, WI, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Pfeil) Wells. Rosemary received her education in the Tomahawk schools.

She was united in marriage to Leonard Plamann on November 22, 1949 in Appleton. Rosemary worked for Weinbrenner Shoe Company in Merrill, WI and Pro Cash Restaurant in Appleton, WI.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church on Stewart Avenue. In free time she enjoyed traveling, crafting and bowling. She also loved dancing, and the band Silverado.

Rosemary was preceded in death by one son Daniel on May 13, 1999, five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband Leonard of Wausau, one son Steven (Jill) Plamann of Windsor, CA, two daughters, Linda (Les) Handford of Lynnwood, WA and Janice (John) Santa Cruz of Gilbert, AZ, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother Kenneth Wells of Appleton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Helke Funeral Home , Reverend Gary Schultz will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service. She will lie in rest at the Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
