Ryan Mayer

On October 6th, 2024, Ryan David Mayer took his eternal Harley ride after a courageous battle with lung cancer. 

He was born on May 13th, 1986, to Marlowe Mayer and Rene (Mayer) Reissmann.

 On July 20th, 2024, he married the love of his life of 22 years, Leslie Ziegel.

 Ryan was a hardworking, loving and devoted Husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending his time riding his Harley, golfing, taking the boat out on the lake, and camping. He was an avid Bears fan, even though the Bears still suck! Most of all he loved spending his time with his family and friends who were just like family to him. He had the best sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke with his buddies. He was employed at Mullins cheese factory for many years, and we would like to thank the Mullins family for all they have done for Ryan and his family. 

 He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Mayer. His pride and joy, Kayden Michael, Declan James, and Priscilla Rae. His parents, Marlowe Mayer and Rene (Greg) Reissmann. His sister Ashley (Greg) Katzke along with their children Tanner, Kinslee and Everly and his brother Caleb Mayer. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lyle and Patty Ziegel. As well as his sister-in-law Becky (Randy) Ziegel Duranceau along with their children Jeremy, Connor and Katelyn. 

 Ryan was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Ozzie and Priscilla Leiter and John and Doria Mayer. 

 A funeral service will take place at Our Saviors National Church, 804 Jackson St. Mosinee WI 54455 on October 25th 2024 at noon. There will be a celebration of life benefit at Backwoods Bar & Grill, 1511 N 2nd Dr. Stevens Point WI 54482 on October 26th, 2024, from Noon-7:00pm.
