Sandra Krueger

Sandra Marie Krueger, age 66, lifelong resident of Wausau, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Mount View Care Center, in Wausau.
Mrs. Krueger was born September 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Carl and Alma (Kalbus) Marquardt. She was united to Ronald D. Krueger on September 12, 1959. A member of First United Methodist Church, Wausau, she taught first grade Sunday school and worked in the nursery.
She was an amazing cook and baker, especially talented at decorating cakes. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and bowling league, all of which she did with her husband, Ronald. She was very proud of her grandchildren and spent countless hours babysitting them as they grew up.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Krueger was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Hafenbreadl and brother, Robert Marquardt.
She is survived by her family, including: Her husband of almost 50 years, Ronald, Wausau; 6 children, all of Wausau, Susan (Lee) Rye, Linda Krueger, Carla (James) Wadinski, Robert Krueger, Tina (Richard) Headlee, and Jennifer (Lonnie) Evans; and 8 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009, at 11:30 a.m., at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. The Reverend Jerry Morris will officiate. Burial will be private at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and resume one hour prior to the funeral service, at Helke Funeral Home.
