Sandra Radtke

Sandra Radtke, 64, of the town of Texas passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1953 in Wausau to the late George and Laverne (Kell) Kalinke.  After graduating from DC Everest High School, Sandy attended UWSP achieving her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1975.  She began her career at Wausau Insurance working there for 38 years until her retirement in 2016.  On April 30, 1988 Sandy married Keith Radtke at St. John’s Lutheran Church, town of Easton.  They enjoyed traveling, sightseeing and fishing Up North.  Sandy had a passion for animals, especially taking care of her dogs, cats and horses.  If she wasn’t bird watching or feeding the many critters that came to visit the feeders, you could find Sandy behind a camera always looking for that perfect picture.

Survivors include her husband, Keith of the town of Texas, her daughter, Megan (Brock Brandner) Radtke of Wausau, sister, Barb (Roger) Betts of Aniwa, mother and father-in-law, Ted and Dorothy Radtke of Wausau,  five brothers-in-law, Steve (Linda) Radtke , Scott (Lori) Radtke,  Tom (Sharon) Radtke, all of Wausau,  Dennis (Maribeth) Radtke of Tampa, FL,  Robert (Joanie) Radtke of Wausau,  two sisters-in-law, Sue (Arlo) Prahl and  Linda (Mike) Maher, all of Wausau and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 7505 N. 33rd St., Wausau.  Reverend Scott Holoubek will officiate.  Burial will be in the Spring at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, town of Easton.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.  You may sign our family guest book at helke.com.
