Sharon Stepan

Sharon Carol Stepan, 82, of Mosinee, WI, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau.

Sharon was born July 6, 1933, in Wausau, WI, daughter of the late George and Frieda (Ehlert) Sandberg. She received her education in Wausau graduating from East High School.

Sharon was united in marriage to Robert Stepan on March 9, 1954, in Red Wing, MN. They made their home in Mosinee, WI, where they operated the family business, Bob's Auto Parts until his death on September 9, 1991.

She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, road trips with her cousins, and traveling throughout the Midwest participating in auto racing with her family.

Sharon is survived by her sons; Allen Stepan of Appleton, WI, Kevin (Barbara) Stepan of Mosinee, WI, four grandchildren; Amy (Andy) Seidler, Kyle Stepan, Andrew Stepan and Victoria Stepan, a great grandson, Chase Seidler, a brother Donald (Jane) Sandberg, and her former daughter in law Kathy Stepan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2001 Jackson St., Mosinee with Pastor Andrew Schmidt officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of the services at the church. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
