May Angels Lead You In
By: Toshia Betts
Your smile, your hugs, your kind words of life.
You were the one we could turn to through our hurt and strife.
You gave us laughs, you showed us love.
No cares in the world, a lofty dove.
The memories we have, the talks we shared.
Through the good or bad, you graciously cared.
When the trees sway, in the sun so bright.
Where the birds soar, you're our guiding star at night.
This is not the end, we shall meet again.
At Heaven's gate, may the angels lead you in.
