Steven Grigg

Steven was born May 2nd 1978, in Hibbing, MN. He grew up in Baltimore, MD, and returned to Hibbing when he was in his early teens. Sometime after graduating high school, Steven moved to the Wausau area, where he lived for the past nine years.

He was a dedicated, hard worker and enjoyed his job at Kolbe and Kolbe. Steven was a true car fanatic, he loved to talk about cars, test drive them, and go to car shows in the area. He could tell you whatever you wanted to know about any type of car. Steven took great pride in his appearance, always liked to look good, and had impeccable handwriting. He was a huge fan of SpongeBob SquarePants. Spending time on the Ress farm, in Spencer, was a favorite pastime.

Steven had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand. He cared very much for those he loved and will be greatly missed.

On Wednesday, October 31st, 2012, Steven P. "Pumpkin" Grigg died at his home. He was 34 years old.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Patricia Grigg, Hibbing, MN; sister, Tara L. Hill, Hibbing, MN; numerous half siblings; numerous nieces and nephews, including, Edina, Jessica, and Brandy; foster-parents, Rick and Tammy Christenson; foster-sibings, Kindl and Cody Christenson; special friend, Chad Ress; second family, Cory (Josephine) Ress, Betty Ress, Susan Huber, and all of the William Ress family; many other family members and friends; and his beloved dog, Walter "Piggy".

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Grigg, Jr.

A memorial service honoring Steven will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, November 10th, at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Family will receive guests beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Steven, you will always be in our hearts and we will love you forever.
