Theodore Goetsch

Theodore "Ted" Goetsch Jr., 76, of Wausau passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
Ted was born September 30, 1938, to the late Theodore and Matilda (Radtke) Goetsch Sr. He received his education in the Wausau schools and then entered the United States Navy where he served his country from 1957 to 1959. After his discharge he returned to Wausau and was united in marriage to Marlene Taylor on October 1, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church on Stewart.
Ted and Marlene made their home in Wausau all their married life where he worked at PDM Bridge as a welder, where he retired.
He enjoyed spending time with his family on their Sunday drives, fishing, going to the casino, bowling and watching old westerns on television.
Ted is survived by his wife Marlene, four children, Julie (Scott) Olson of Ringle, WI, Richard Goetsch and John Goetsch both of Wausau and Donna (Mike) Bradberry of Weston, WI, 14 grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Daniel, Marlee, Sammy, Rodney, Lily, Stephanie, Chrissy, Cassie, Taylor, Mike, Tony and Colton, 4 great grandchildren, Kristopher, Bailey, Jolene and Aiden, and one brother Albert Goetsch of Wausau.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily and Marion.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave, Wausau with Rev. Gary Schultz officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the church. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
