Thomas Borchardt, 64, of Wausau, died Sunday December 6, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Thomas was born December 19, 1944 to the late Harry and Ruth (McCallin) Borchardt. He worked in window manufacturing. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his boys up at Sherwood Forest Campground in Tomahawk on Lake Allis. Thomas was a good grandpa to his grandchildren, and loved polka music.
Survivors include two sons; Scott Borchardt and Todd Borchardt both of Wausau, four grandchildren; Vincent, Steven, Sarah and Dwight, one brother Charles (Nancy) Borchardt of Colo., one sister Amy Gloss of Lombard, Ill., and his special friend of many years, Judy Mortimer.
Thomas was preceded in death by one son Brian and two brothers; Dion and Stewart.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday December 10, 2009 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau., and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
