Troy Herzog, 33, of Mosinee, formerly of Wausau, died Saturday, April 18, 2009.
Troy was born October 13, 1975, in Storm Lake, IA, the son of Steve and Jenice Herzog. He was raised in Wausau and graduated from Wausau West High School. Throughout his life he was an active outdoorsman, who enjoyed participating in hunting and fishing activities, and spending time camping with family and friends. He was united in marriage to Tina Guralski on April 20, 2000, in Las Vegas, NV.
He is survived by his loving family, including: His wife, Tina; 2 daughters, Kyann and Skyla; parents, Steve and Jenice Herzog; siblings, Jon and Tami Herzog; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Margaret Herzog; parents-in-law, Gerald and Sandy Guralski; and many other family members and friends. He is also survived by his 2 dogs, Redd and Blue; and a chinchilla, Rock Star.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Lois Cameron.
A funeral service will be held at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, on Thursday, April 23, at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Vergin will officiate. Visitation will be held, prior to the service at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
