Vallee Lucille Seager, 87, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehab Center.
Vallee was born May 7, 1927 in Milwaukee to the late Edward and Mary (Gusman) Reno. She married Roy Krueger in Wausau in 1945, the couple later divorced but remained close friends throughout their lives until Roy's death in 2012. Vallee remarried on March 15, 1977 to Robert Seager in DeKalb, IL, until Robert's death in 1988. She worked for Zastrow's Café in Wausau for 15 years before moving to Reno, NV and working for Fitzgerald's and Harrah's Casinos for the next 20 years.
Vallee was a very independent and generous woman. She loved taking care of her cats in the neighborhood, going to rummage sales and eating good food.
Vallee is survived by her three children, Sherry Hofman of Wausau, Mark Krueger of Wausau and Bruce (Cathy) Krueger of Madison; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many friends.
A private memorial service for Vallee will take place and she will be buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
