Warren Salzmann, 92, of Wausau passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Wausau Manor.
He was born January 16, 1921, in Wausau, to the late Nick and Dela (Fisher) Salzmann. Warren was a 1939 graduate of Wausau High School. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII as a Sergeant. Warren was employed by the Singer Sewing Machine Company for 30 years as a sales and service representative and manager. In his younger years, he enjoyed skiing, archery, fishing, gardening and flowers.
He is further preceded in death by his sister, Jean Ryding. He is survived by a niece, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17th 2013, at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, 330 McClellan St., Wausau. Father David Klutterman will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the VFW Burns Post No. 388, Wausau. Visitation will be at the church, on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
