Wayne Herman Gregory, 73, Schofield, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital in Weston, WI.
Wayne was born February 23, 1942 in Wausau to the late William and Loretta (Coghlan) Gregory. He married Bonnie Ann Krueger on February 11, 1985 in Wausau and they celebrated 23 years together prior to her death on April 5, 2006.
In his earlier years, Wayne enjoyed the outdoors camping and hunting, racing and shooting pool. Later in life, he became an enthusiastic NASCAR fan and collected muscle car models. Throughout his life, Wayne loved spending time with family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his loving children, Jeffrey (Julie Cliver) Gregory of Mosinee, Roxann (Delmar Dahlke) Johnson of Dorchester, Jason (Christina) Gregory of Colby and Rosemary Gregory of Oshkosh; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, William Gregory of Woodruff, Richard (Jackie) Greguire of Wittenberg, JoAnn (Roger) Gwidt of Green Bay and Jerry (Linda) Gregory of Salida, CO; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Ronald; and sister, Rosemary.
A private service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Wausau.
