William "Bill" C. Trempe, aged 80, of Wausau, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Born on December 29, 1943, in Wausau, William was the son of the late Elmer and Beatrice (Mogensen) Trempe. William had a passion for fishing, often finding joy and solace in the tranquility of nature. He was also a gifted woodworker, crafting many toys over the years for his grandchildren. Additionally, he spent his summers tending to a large vegetable garden. However, his greatest love was for Jesus, which guided him throughout his life and influenced those around him.
William is survived by his son, Aaron (Heather) Trempe, and their children, Connor, David, Elijah, Ethan, and Caleb; his daughter, Sandy (Eric) Olson, and their children, Noah, Isaiah, and Malachi; and his stepchildren, Faith (Mike) Gwinn, Ted Wagner, Jessica (Scott) Heide, Christine (Lance) Bouyear, and Erin Wagner.
