William Kraus

Bill, 56, died unexpectedly July 23rd. He was born September 18th 1956, to the late John and Eva (Tymofijeznk) Kraus. After graduating Wausau West High school, he served his country in the National Guard. He then worked in ginseng, at Kolbe Lumber, ending at Linetec. He was united in marriage to Cathy (Gausmann) Wurz on January 3rd 2004. Bill enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, his dog, and with much love, his wife.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cathy; three children, Andrew (Melissa), Jennifer, and Paul Kraus; two grandchildren; three siblings, Mary (Floyd) Huff, Theresa "Teri" (Joseph) Harrold, and Anthony Kraus; four step-children; 14 step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Richard Czaus; and sister-in-law, Linda Kraus.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 27th, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Rothschild. Reverend Richard L. Block will officiate. Family will receive friends on Saturday, at church, from 3 p.m. until the service.
