William “Bill” J. Timm, 76, of Rib Mountain, died Friday May 21, 2010 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.
Bill was born February 11, 1934 in Brokaw to the late Robert and Anna (Jaeger) Timm. He married Gloria Rahn on October 15, 1955 in Wausau. Bill worked in sales, first as a Fuller Brush Salesman and later in the insurance field. He was a member of the Noon Optimist Club. He enjoyed the casinos, golfing, watching the Packers and traveling. Bill and Gloria did a lot of traveling to include Europe, Ocean Cruises and lots of trips to Las Vegas where they saw many shows.
Survivors include his wife Gloria of Rib Mountain, 3 children; Lori (Roger) Imhoff of Wausau, John (Karrie) Timm of Germantown, and Beth (Tony) Champine of Rib Mountain, and six grandchildren; Luke and Alex Imhoff, Kristen and Michael Timm, and Jenny and Justin (Jamie) Champine.
Bill was preceded in death by one son Jeffery, two brothers; Ernest and Abby Timm, and one sister Dorothy Brown.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday May 25, 2010 at the Rib Mountain Lutheran Church. The Reverend Thomas Hoelter will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday May 24, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
